Cholesterol is in the cells of your body. Everyone needs it; however, your body makes all the cholesterol you need.

Cholesterol is a negatively associated word because of its health effects when absorbed in your diet.

Low denisity lipoprotein cholesterol is often the bad cholesterol you hear about. A high LDL level leads to a buildup of cholesterol in your arteries (plaque), which can lead to heart disease and possibly heart attacks or surgery.

In order to prevent this, you don’t have to avoid cholesterol entirely; however, if you minimize these products you will also minimize your risk of heart disease.
